Installation


alert-triangle Turn off the Power Supply

  1. Locate the circuit breaker panel in your home.

  2. Identify the breaker that controls the power supply to the switch you want to replace.

  3. Flip the breaker to the "Off" position to cut off the power supply. Double-check that the switch is no longer receiving power before proceeding.

Remove Switch Cover

4. Use a screwdriver to remove the cover of the switch.

  1. Gently pull the cover and alloy frame away from the back panel to expose the mounting holes behind it.

  2. Set aside the cover plate and screws for reassembly later.

Connect Wires to Smart Switch

7. Carefully unscrew the screws holding the existing switch in place.

  1. Take note of the wire connections on the old switch (typically live and neutral wires).

  2. Disconnect the wires from the existing switch, loosening the terminal screws.

  3. Connect the live wire to the live terminal on the Home & Roam smart switch.

  4. Connect the neutral wire to the neutral terminal on the Home & Roam smart switch. Ensure proper and secure connections.

Secure the Smart Switch and Restore Power

12. Carefully push the Home & Roam smart switch into the electrical box.

  1. Align the screw holes of the smart switch with the screw holes on the electrical box.

  2. Use the provided screws to secure the Home & Roam smart switch in place.

  3. Place the switch cover over the Home & Roam smart switch and align the screw holes.

  4. Insert and tighten the screws to attach the cover securely.

  5. Return to the circuit breaker panel.

  6. Flip the breaker that controls the switch back to the "On" position to restore power.

  7. Test the Home & Roam smart switch by turning it on and off to ensure it is functioning properly.
